Mechanical Project Manager
Mechanical Contracting- HVAC – MEP - Mechanical Construction
Our client an excellent large mechanical contractor is actively seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to run projects in the New Jersey/New York area. The Project Manager will have experience managing projects ranging from $500k to $7 million dollars.
Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in Commercial HVAC, Commercial Plumbing, Industrial Process Piping or Mechanical construction field.
Demonstrated success managing large mechanical construction projects
Maximizing profitability for assigned projects
HVAC, Mechanical Systems, Process Piping, Industrial Plumbing projects
Labor scheduling, material scheduling, purchasing, job costing & scheduling, maintaining project safety
BA or BS degree a plus, not required: Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or related field
PMP Certified a plus, not required
BIM (Building Information Modelling) project experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Scheduling Tools (such as MS Project, Primavera or other related industry software a plus).
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
