Expertus is looking for an experienced Implementation Project Manager to join our Customer Services Team. The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation, project management, customer services support, technical support and maintenance of the SaaS-based ExpertusOne dynamic learning platform.
Based in our Mountain View Headquarters, the Implementation Manager will report directly to the VP of Client Services, and must be prepared to travel to customer sites 25% - 40% of the time.
The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple implementation projects concurrently. This includes managing customer relationships while overseeing system design, configuration, and execution.  The Implementation Project Manager must be able to appropriately manage customer expectations, project scope, customer requirements, team resources, and basic system configuration, while achieving a successful transition to production.
Some of the specific responsibilities include:
Implementation Processes
- Support, lead, and ensure the standardization of processes for implementing projects across all customers. Identify and implement process improvements as needed.
Business Planning
- Collaborate with Sales and Strategy team to create/modify the standard Statement of Work (SOW) during project implementation. Ensure SOW documentation is current and accurate. Support and understand impacts to Service Contracts/Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Customer Management
- Support or lead customer requirements sessions. Identify and understands the customer’s specific needs. Consult with customers regarding Expertus products and services. Build successful partnerships and instill confidence and credibility. Set clear expectations on project deliverables and changes to critical path.  Work with Account Leadership/customer to establish priorities and balance expectations. Lead customer project reviews.
Project Management
- Prepare and manage project plans, including risks and issues. Understand and analyze the impact of changing priorities and balance resources appropriately. Manage time, budget and resources for all projects while meeting implementation schedule.
Financial Management
- Understand and adhere to Deal Model. Identify out-of-scope work and collaborate with internal resources to generate accurate fee quotes. Execute project to budget/goals and provide Domain/Account Leadership with appropriate support for planning/corrective actions. Drive effective cost management practices and operational improvements.
Team Building
- Develop and nurture strong, collaborative, trusting relationships among the company’s leadership, team members and key customers
Technical/Functional Knowledge
- Demonstrate ability to manage system configuration and technical resources. Troubleshoot basic configuration problems and knows where to find assistance for complex problems. Educate associates and customers while serving as a subject matter expert.
Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate has experience managing or playing a lead customer-facing role in multiple technology integration engagements and should have strong project management, leadership, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.  Candidates must have working knowledge of the Learning Management System industry and be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a technical, fast-paced, dynamic software development atmosphere. 
Additional skills and experience include
BA/BS degree required.
2 years of software implementation project management experience, ideally with an LMS product.
Proficient in MS Project and Office with an ability to use technology effectively and productively.
Project management certification preferred.
Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries while further developing your career.
Experience with various other Talent Management Systems (Saba, SuccessFactors, Taleo, Plateau, etc.) a plus.
