Manufacturing Project Engineer
The Manufacturing Project Engineer
position works both independently and as part of a team to maintain and improve processes and systems used in manufacturing. In addition, Manufacturing Engineers function as a specialist and subject matter expert for technical planning throughout a manufacturing facility.
Duties:
Communicating ECR's (Engineering Change Request) to Design Engineering; and ECN's (Engineering Change Notifications) to Manufacturing
Work with manufacturing to ensure product manufacturability and troubleshoot flow issues.
Provide support for plant maintenance personnel for equipment downtime issues and submit capital expenditure requests complete with detailed justification
Provides direction and guidance to other manufacturing personnel in a continuous effort to improve manufacturing productivity. Works with suppliers (both internal and external) in the development of processes, which ensure the most efficient and cost-effective systems or operations to produce quality products.
Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost in performing assigned duties.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering and/or 6 years of design and project management experience or BS in Mechanical Engineering and 4 years of experience
Design experience, including creating drawings and bills of materials
CNC programming experience
SolidWorks
CAD
Quoting (including scope of work) experience
Design for manufacturability experience
Ability to develop and make presentations to customers and company management
Communication Skills with an emphasis on cross-functional team building
Computer literate with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite
This position requires experience and expertise in specific fields of manufacturing such as understanding of product design to combine with process expertise to provide for improved manufacturability of parts and major components.
