An excellent company in the greater Albany, NY area is actively seeking to add an Architectural Project Manager or Sr Project Manager to the organization. The Project Manager is responsible for managing & overseeing a team of professionals to successfully guide the project through the design, production, and construction phases to achieve the client’s vision.

Responsibilities:
Set up list of deliverables and work with the assigned team to deliver
Ensures that governmental regulations, zoning & building codes, and current building industry standards are met
Responsible for leading, managing and overseeing the entire architectural project(s) on a day-to-day basis from the Schematic Design/Conception phase through to Design Development, Construction Drawings, Bidding/Contract Negotiation, Construction Administration and Closeout phases
Guide, direct and mentor the project and consultant teams
Manage project schedules, budgets, and team progress
Develop & coordinate technical specifications
Maintain ongoing, positive, and productive team & client relationships
Sharing professional knowledge, provide direction, motivating others and fostering a successful project team to execute assigned projects (Designer(s), Architect(s), etc.)
Experience pursuing new business opportunities with existing or potential new clients
Provide client(s) clear communication throughout the project lifecycle, proactively address potential issues, and provide possible solutions as necessary
Conduct site visits as necessary
Requirements:
BA or MS degree in Architecture
Minimum of at least seven (7 ) or more years in the practice of architecture.
Architectural registration license
Management skills & experience to lead staff team, consultants and maintain client relationships
QA/QC review of the work of others
Revit experience
Newforma experience
Computer skills: Adobe, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Project.
Strong verbal & written communication, and presentation skills
