We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive project manager who can make a significant contribution to the effective implementation of the University’s student recruitment and widening participation strategies, aimed at encouraging students from all backgrounds to progress to higher education. This varied and dynamic role involves working across the institution to support a range of different projects. We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with stakeholders, manage projects and monitor progress against deliverables. 
The role will involve managing concurrent large- and small-scale projects which involve a range of stakeholders. As such, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills a ‘can do’ attitude and a flexible approach to work. Knowledge of the higher education sector, key issues affecting undergraduate recruitment and admissions and an understanding of widening participation practice are key to being a successful candidate in this role.

This role is fixed term until 24
th
April 2023. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.
