Senior Project Manager – Account Manager (Medical Communications)
Promotional Medical Education - Healthcare Communications- Pharmaceutical Marketing
Our medical communications agency client specializing in promotional medical education is actively seeking to fill a full- time permanent staff position within the client services team, at the Account Manager level. Position titles vary from company to company so don’t get caught up in titles. Applicants will have project management, client management, client services experience within a medical communications agency.
***Promotional Medical Education (Medical Communications) experience is required. This is an excellent

Responsibilities:
Experience managing and executing industry programs (advisory boards, slide decks, Sales Training Modules for MSLs, Scientific Communication Platform development, Speaker trainings, congress support, managing internal program material creation, etc.). This is NOT a logistical meeting/events planning role
Work directly with account services leadership to identify and assess client educational and/or promotional needs and future goals
Prepare and submit medically referenced material to Veeva Vault
Manage and track financial budgets
Lead weekly client status calls on program status, program evaluations, financial status, spend reporting and tracking
Delivery & execution on all aspects of account activities; scheduling, timelines, budgeting, and resourcing to ensure project delivery
Understanding of the AMA and PhRMA guidelines.
Strong ability to collaborate with the team to participate in all phases of the project life cycle from concept thru to completion (reconciliation and billing)
Deliver high quality account programs that exceed strategic needs of clients
Conduct meetings throughout the project life cycle (kick off, status meetings, reconciliation/closure)
Regular communication with team members, inner departments, clients, and faculty to ensure client project objectives remain on budget & meet client expectations
Experience collaborating with client account(s) in the management of promotional medical education programs
Monitor projects to identify potential problems and create workable solutions
Requirements:
Qualified applicants will have ~ five (5) or more years of project management/ account management/client services experience in promotional medical education / pharmaceutical marketing within a medical communications agency
BS or BA degree in business, life sciences, communications, or related discipline desired
Launch experience a plus
Veeva experience a plus
Excellent time, project management and communication skills both written & verbal
Computer proficient (Microsoft)
