Construction Electrical Project Manager
Description
Responsibilities:
Own project from Kickoff to Completion
Work with Sales / Engineering to create 100% Project Packet to manage project from
Develop/Adjust Overall Project Schedule
based on the following variables:
Procurement Lead Times
Equipment availability (trailers, lifts, pressure washers, etc)
Engineering / Permitting Requirements
Geography of assigned projects
Manage permitting process
See to it that all required inspections are successfully obtained
Close out permit upon completion
Develop Overall Construction Schedule
to include:
Create task level construction schedule
Desired order of operation / completion
Coordinate mobilization dates, outage dates, and construction schedule with Customer
Ensure that no work is performed outside the scope of the contract without approval of Account Manager
Notify Account Manager of issues that would lead project to NOT be completed at or under budget and/or with 100% customer satisfaction
Seek / Strive to develop processes that streamline operations and cut costs
Conduct site visits throughout project and construction to ensure:
Customer is kept in the loop
Site is Construction Ready
Construction is on schedule
Construction plan is being adhered to
Construction site is CLEAN and ORGANIZED at all times
Manage equipment rentals and document in Construction software (Monday)
Manage commodity procurement and document in Construction software
Manage s10-15 direct reports, all electricians.
Provide project level documentation within Construction software of:
Site visit notes
Procurements
Rentals
Subcontracting
Construction
