As a Citizen Development Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Senior Professional, you will collaborate with business and IT partners, and will be responsible for identifying business technology solutions, performing risk assessments, assessing controls, and supporting gap remediation. The IT Compliance Professional works with non-IT user groups along with various IT organizations to identify control gaps and remediation to ensure all non-IT users of technology are adhering to the IT Outside of Corporate IT policy. The policy addresses what is known in the industry as Shadow IT. The selected candidate will be part of the User Development Outside of IT (UDOIT) function, whose goal is to identify business development solutions, assess risk, ensure that appropriate controls exist (business and IT), and that risks to Humana related to the technology are mitigated. Assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The IT Compliance Professional supports communication and education of new or changed polices involving risk control; Identifies control gaps and supports process to mitigate and close; Facilitates conversations on controls and areas of high risk to determine remediation plans; Helps identify changes and trends in IT and the business areas impacting the risks around IT outside of IT.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of an IT Compliance Professional Lead or IT Compliance Associate Director, the IT Compliance Professional will:
Identify and monitor areas of risk within Humana’s Information Technology
Operationalize new or changed technology policies involving risk control
Support communication and education of new or changed polices involving risk control
Monitor risk controls and collaborates with others on risk mitigation/elimination opportunities
Facilitate risk assessments and conversations on controls in areas of high risk to determine remediation plans
Help identify changes and trends in IT and the business areas impacting the risks around IT outside of IT
Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed
Source and collect information to identify and monitor areas of risk within Humana’s Information Technology
Collect and analyze data
Compile reporting, preparing it in a business deliverable format, if needed
Identify changes and trends based on analytical findings
Collaborate with others on risk mitigation/elimination opportunities
Essentials
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Makes decisions regarding own work methods
Comfortable with occasionally ambiguous situations
Requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed
Process analyzation and improvement experience
Demonstrated project management experience, including cross-functional teams
Experience working with large data sets
Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communications
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience summarizing complex data into business deliverable format (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of non-IT technology suites
Metrics and report development experience
SharePoint development experience
Data analytics experience (ie. Excel – pivot tables, merging of data)
Broad knowledge of Humana’s technology within Business Operations
Exposure to Humana’s processes involving software procurement, data governance, cloud services, software development lifecycle
Broad knowledge of Humana’s technology framework
Risk and/or technology compliance background
