Position summaryServe as initial project contact to scope, plan, develop project timeline, document and create SOP\u2019s to hand off to operations team for project implementation. Effectively monitor and report on scope, risks and issues, budget and timelines to appropriate internal and external stakeholders. Develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives. Ensure project scope and operational tasks are clearly documented, understood, assigned and tracked. Complete all project documentation required based on our SLA or agreed upon deliverables. Engage in and communicate ideas for supporting the continuous improvement of SLA processes with a positive and constructive attitude and for developing this attitude in others. Provide seamless handoff to operations team for implementation and timely updates for scope, timing or project changes.Schedule:\u00A0Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm (hours may vary)\u00A0Location:\u00A0Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond\u00A0Salary:\u00A0$88,000 per year\u00A0Key responsibilities / Essential FunctionsStakeholder Engagement: Builds valued relationships consistently, enabling on-going and effective partnerships focused on achieving shared objectives for the customer and Northwest Center. Identifies differences or disagreements among business and technology stakeholders; facilitates involvement, collaboration, and communication to resolve issues quickly. Partners with stakeholders to support their decision-making processes; challenges thinking to ensure accountability and good stewardship. Ability to work effectively at the Sr. Leadership and operational level, while remaining focused and committed to Northwest Center\u2019s overall business interest and strategic growth objectives. Execution and Delivery: Commits significant focus, energy and/or resources to reach solutions; actively looks for new methods or processes to achieve desired results. Identifies gaps and anticipates risks; takes action to connect parties, address risks and determine solutions. Reinforces culture of shared ownership in program progress and successful completion. Manages projects at startup and for extended durations with potential to warm handoff into operations team. Some projects/scope may remain under this role and not transitioned into a production/operations team. This determination will be made based on a number of factors including duration, complexity and bandwidth of this position and other teams. Documentation, SOP\u2019s, Training: Creates clear concise and thorough documentation for project execution. Develops SOP\u2019s to support implementation and training material in the support of rapid execution while exceeding SLA\u2019s and achievement of project timeline.Focus and Delegation: Focus on details along with rapid deployment while ensuring quality and efficiency of effort. Excellent practitioner in delegating work to others and empowering teams to meet the deployment objectives. Scalable Solutions: Drives for optimal solutions that are simple and quickest way to value; prevents unsustainable complexity. Sees obstacles and challenges as opportunities. Instills a continuous improvement mindset focused on identifying waste, root causes of inefficiency and practical, incremental improvements. Builds solutions that are scalable and able to be easily modified as new requirements are identifiedEffective Communication: Clearly communicates decisions, plans, goals and strategies to internal and external stakeholders. Organizes and communicates information clearly and simply to drive actions. Communicates to diverse audiences so that information is credible, digestible and easily understood. Ability to work with all levels of the organization from Executives to frontline staff.Technical Aptitude: Considers options that span practices and functions and addresses each with a logical approach. Additional Duties: Any additional duties as requested in support of the NWC@Amazon Operations.Needed experience & requirementsEducation\u2022 BA Degree in business/related field or equivalentExperience\u2022 5 years of relevant work experience focused on customer support and administrative services\u2022 4 years of experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units\u2022 Served as vendor manager for large scale enterprise customer in an operations function\u2022 Strong preference for working knowledge of Amazon ecosystem or equivalent scale technology organization\u2022 Demonstrated success in fast paced, agile environment to drive new projects to completion \u2022 PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent which can be acquired after hire and will be supported by NWCDemonstrable Skills\u2022 Commitment to Northwest Center\u2019s mission of inclusion and ability to successfully work in a diverse environment.\u2022 Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.\u2022 Interpersonal skills to effectively motivate others. Is not averse to change.Working Conditions & Physical demands\u2022 Must be able to frequently carry and lift a backpack containing a laptop and other supplies, up to 50 pounds. \u2022 May need to carry supplies to other buildings. \u2022 Variable working hours between 07:30AM and 6:00PM with occasional nights and weekends\u2022 It is a combination of desk and actively visiting several Amazon buildings so the ability to move consistently within a 1.5 radius is required. \u2022 Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language\u2022 Ability to see both distance and details at close range, within a few feet of the observer (with or without corrective lenses).\u2022 Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device).\u2022 Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including occasionally arriving early, staying late on a moment\u2019s notice and occasional evening and weekend shifts. \u2022 This is a dog friendly environment with over 1000 dogs on campus.
