The Supply Chain
Project Management Professional will report into the Supply Chain
Management organization and will be responsible for the planning, organization
and implementation of complex cross-functional projects designed to create
efficiencies for process optimization and SCM Offset support strategy.  

 

This individual will
also leverage industry best practices in project execution to integrate
improved processes and visibility into the offset process. This role is
located in Bell’s Fort Worth headquarters. 

  

Responsibilities: 


Accountable for project scope
management, documentation, status reporting, and work planning to develop,
and implement SCM Offset initiatives and strategy.
Provides coordination for a
multi-disciplinary team, provides guidance, assists in issue resolution
and provides direction to team and management in terms of conflicting
priorities.
Demonstrates proactive,
effective communication skills including excellent written, verbal and
presentation skills.
Evaluates overall schedules and
budgets, updates project plans, and monitors and controls project
execution.
Provides verbal and written
status reports, manages meetings, and facilitates requirements,
problem-solving.
Conducts meetings with all
levels of staff and management to address and resolve issues and provide
project status
Responsible for effective use
of project management concepts, tools and process improvement techniques.
Demonstrates excellent business
skills and works effectively to build relationships with user departments,
management, and vendors
Support Special projects as
needed including:

Supplier Analytics for
Registration and Onboarding, Mergers and Acquisitions
Optimization efforts around
terms & conditions
Testing for system
roll-outs--- including Enovia, Ariba, etc as needed.

Requires ability to do
significant (up to 25%) travel

Education Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree.  In
lieu of Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years relevant work experience in
(as described below) in position requirements and project management may
be considered with at least a HS Diploma/equivalent.    


Position Requirements:


At least 2 years with of professional experience within
the following environments: manufacturing, technical,
offset/industrial participation or procurement with demonstrated results
as problem solver in team environment.
Understanding of the complexity
of a supply chain.
Understanding international
Offset and Industrial Participation requirements
Strong leadership,
communication, and team building skills.
Excellent writing, presentation
and communication skills.
Ability to influence outside of
own chain of command.
Self-starter, able to work in a
team environment to achieve desired objectives.
Work cooperatively with other
Textron and supplier employees, management, department heads and
customers.
Competency with Microsoft
Project
And ability to do significant
(up to 25%) travel
