Job overview:
You will be responsible for maintenance and configuration of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. hardware / software.
In this role, you can expect to be one of the main points of contact for internal customers related to our engineering business units who require service and help at the colocation. These internal customers will primarily be QA and software development teams.
In this role, it is our hope that you will enjoy learning about and contributing to the process of developing leading edge/innovative storage technology from the ground up.

Responsibilities:
Act as one of 2-3 main points of contact for installation, configuration and break fix requests.
Help with hands-on repair / installation / configuration of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. hardware and other commodity server hardware when needed.
Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining best practices regarding deploying new hardware / network and modifying existing installations
Communicate with stakeholders in a timely fashion to set proper expectations for when projects and break fix work will be done.
Interface with datacenter operations manager and other team members to help identify pain points and resolve them
What You Bring To The Team:
Ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken english.
Willingness to work in an unstructured environment, with proper mindset for self-managing time and properly prioritizing multiple tasks.
Strong knowledge of server / networking hardware troubleshooting process.
Intermediate software / network switch configuration experience (Linux, windows, esx / cisco, arista).
Ability to author or at least contribute actively to documentation on a regular basis.
Strong understanding of datacenter / colocation operations (power, cooling, cabling, capacity planning etc)
Previous experience with project management related to systems deployment.
Desired skills / experience:
Demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a diverse, fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Previous experience with project management and ticket system such as JIRA.
CCNA or equivalent experience / understanding of large scale datacenter networks
