Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Payloads IPT Manager of Programs 3. This position will be located in **Roy, UT** and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Forces sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
**What you will get to do:**
The successful applicant will:
Responsible for the cost, schedule, risk and technical performance and subcontract management of the GBSD Payloads Team supplier for the Delta Flight Test Vehicle (DFTV) and the Payload Re-Entry System nuclear surety support equipment (NSSE)
Participates in the negotiation of the supplier sub-contract and sub-contract changes
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
Acts as primary customer contact for DFTV and NSSE program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Provide people leadership for a sub-contract management team, to include performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning
Support department initiatives; technology roadmap creation, cross-campus/sector involvement, and NCTA project leadership
Support employee development; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute programs
Support staffing and workload forecast; Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, performance management and contract maintenance for the contractors working in the business area

****This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

**Basic Qualifications**
Bachelors Degree in a STEM-related field of study and 9 years of experience, Masters Degree and 7 years of experience.
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
Minimum of 3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
People leadership experience
Subcontract Management Experience
5 years of experience with ICBM Weapon System
5 years of experience in Subcontract Management
Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
2 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $221,500.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
