Job Description:
Ensure assigned installation projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance to our company standards, while developing Technicians and Leads in Training.
Responsibilites:
Project Lead Roles:
Lead, manage, hold people accountable, and maintain processes (LMAP)
Install projects on time, on budget (OTOB)
Ensure projects are completed in accordance with our company standards
Coordinate and communicate on projects daily
Train and mentor Leads-in-Training (LITs) and Technicians
Efficiency:
Achieve system installations within 5% of budgeted hours, for overall project installation and individually for prewire, trim, finish, and travel phases
Submit Teams, TeamGantt, and JBIR updates daily
Ensure G-time does not exceed 6% of weekly hours
Submit accurate time log and work order log entries daily
Performance:
Achieve and maintain project schedule as defined by internal and external customers
Ensure closeout of all assigned projects are completed according to project schedule
Acquire 1 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Renewal Units (RU) each month
Achieve training as assigned by Production Manager
Coordination:
Participates in all project meetings with Account Manager and Systems Designer, and promptly escalates/alerts to team to issues
Coordinates with General Contractor, EC, Owner, Consultant, General Manager, Field Manager, Systems Designer, Shop Manager, Programmer, Lead in Training, Technician(s), Purchasing Associate, and Accounting Associate, to ensure projects are installed in accordance to project schedule (Includes schedule, equipment, RFI's, lifts, hotels, etc.)
Coordinates with and assists Customer Support as assigned
Job Requirements:
Ability to schedule personnel and resources (equipment and tools) for daily/weekly needs
Adequate knowledge of sound, acoustics, video, lighting systems, electric and basic power systems
Thorough knowledge of construction drawings and schematics
Proven ability to quickly discover errors in system drawings and material list before installation
Ability to lift as a routine task, 50 pounds or more, or push/pull or carry at least 50 pounds, without assistance
Ability to work regularly in demanding conditions in and around construction sites including, but not limited to, extreme cold and heat, and other confined spaces where it may be dirty and dusty
Proficient with Digital Signal Processors (DSPs), control systems, video processors, iAuditor, IP addressing and basic networking
Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
Will to travel as required (US only)
Available to work out-of-town (gone overnight), evenings, weekends, overtime, and long hours if client service is needed
