POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and execution of all product and brand projects globally for Apparel as well as manage workflow and cross-functional communications. They will be responsible for leading the creation and management of project timelines and calendars related to specific brand projects. They will also own the process for each major project assigned from conception to completion, including production schedules, resource allocation, delivery of assets, archive management, and the ability to know when and how to raise red flags to the Director Project Management and senior management as issues arise that may impact delivery timing.

This role requires an understanding of the Calvin Klein brand and the ability to manage multiple projects with high levels of complexity. They will work alongside Design, Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply teams across various levels of the organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Leads internal planning sessions and project roadmaps as well as socializes progress and updates to cross-functional teams.
• Works closely with senior management within Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply, and Go-To-Market.
• Coaches and mentors Sr Project Management Coordinator.  
• Leads communication with senior management in order to keep the project aligned with overarching goals and priorities.
• Oversees the development of day-to-day operations to modernize workflow and ensures best practices are in place.
• Manages project timelines and directs Sr Project Management Coordinator, ensuring status updates are published and deadlines are met.
• Oversees all Global and North America Apparel product strategy projects, using established project management tools; maintains current status document of all projects helping to lead weekly status meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborates with cross-functional partners to ensure projects are delivered timely and under or within budget.
• Possesses strong understanding of the Calvin Klein Design and Merchandising function and responsibilities.
• Oversees and facilitates cross-discipline and cross-partner collaboration.
• Collaborates with Director Project Management and senior management to create efficiencies throughout the team to ensure timely delivery of projects, while possessing strong understanding of brand standards.
• Provides point of view on best practices and solutions across functions.
• Ensures the routing for approval and review of all materials.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: At least 10 years of proven and progressive project management

experience.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field; PMP certification a plus.
