Position Summary:

The System Analytics & Reporting Manager is an individual contributor who is responsible for design, roadmap, standards definitions, maintenance, and support of reporting solutions. This individual will work with internal customers to understand requirements and develop reporting solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools and underlying technologies. The successful candidate must demonstrate a clear understanding of BI and Data Warehouse operating environments and related technologies. They should also have experience with project management and an understanding of supply chain systems and data.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Work with IT, management, and business users to understand business processes, gather and document project requirements, and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications.

Work with IT to coordinate upgrades and conversions.

Perform system testing and audit system performance as necessary.

Identify and implement solutions to improve data efficiency and to more effectively drive performance improvement.

Work with end users and management to improve and/or automate processes by applying Lean concepts.

Work with Supply Chain Planning and other users of supply chain data companywide to create and manage reports ranging from detailed functional analytics to enterprise leadership reporting summaries.

Create training materials and conduct training courses for end users.

Establish best practices and processes for report writing and distribution.

Basic knowledge of all systems used by Supply Chain Planning (IBP, SAP, PowerBI, AFE, GCP, etc).

Troubleshoot, facilitate, and initiate improvements and enhancements.

Lead best practice user initiatives across department.

Develop data tools to enable Supply Chain personnel to effectively drive performance improvement.

Identify project risks and impediments, notify management, and proactively work with other members of the team to complete assigned tasks as defined by project scope and timelines.

Participate in evaluating and analyzing utilities and tools offered by BI applications/tools vendors.

Determine testing needed to assure the functionality and integrity of reporting solutions, create test plans, and evaluate testing results taking corrective action as necessary.

Provide break/fix solutions and ensure data integrity.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree required, at least 5-7 years of business and/or applications support experience required, with a concentration in supply chain preferred. Master's degree preferred.

2 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.

Expertise in programming complex SQL queries and report building in PowerBI.

Ability to perform detailed data analysis.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Professional experience in successfully supporting reporting applications.

Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.

Strong knowledge of MS Power Automation and MS Sharepoint

Knowledge and proven application of demand and inventory planning skills strongly preferred. Knowledge of lean concepts desired.

Good written / oral communication skills.

Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment.


This position can be based out of our Chicago, IL office OR our Springdale, AR office. It is hybrid work model, meaning 3 days a week in the office, 2 days a week option to work remotely/from home.
