We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Innovative’s Project Management function for critical client projects.  You will report directly to the Vice President of Global Operations.

You will have complete responsibility for ensuring customer success in the delivery and execution of short and longer-term projects and deliver them in accordance with the standards of Innovative’s management and the customer’s expectations. In addition, you will have overall accountability for the planning and successful execution of IT projects including specific responsibility for resource and project planning, allocation oversight, project execution, financial reporting related to your projects, and leading technology change initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities – the work you will be doing
You will be focused fully on the management of the project versus technical implementation and you will be accountability for ensuring that all project documentation is complete and standardized. Your singular focus on project management responsibilities will allow focus on more accurate project tracking including the accurate tracking and reporting of billable time throughout the project.  
About 60% of your time is expected to be focused on project management of external engagements.  The remainder of your time is expected to be equally split between resource analysis and planning, and internal project management.  Your overall responsibilities includes:
Identify risks to the project and its dealing in order to mitigate and resolve issues
Develop and execute an end-to-end project plan for each assigned project
Utilize proven project management methodology, best practices and tools to deliver business value though managing work, priorities, dependencies and resources for delivery of results that exceed customer expectations
Develop detailed project schedules, project estimates, and resource plans to ensure the optimization of resources and achievement of project objectives
Build and execute effective project communication plans to ensure stakeholders, team members and impacted parties are appropriately apprised of the project goals, expectations, status and delivery
Identify, track, and proactively apprise management of issues and risks affecting project status and offer alternative, compensating solutions
Review project deliverables to ensure a high quality of deliverables
Develop success metrics and track project execution excellence to those metrics and benefits
Build effective relationships with all parties contributing to and affected by the project including IT, business, and vendor team members, stakeholders and end users
Facilitate team meetings to ensure effective business decisions are reached by utilizing strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of team dynamics and effective leadership skills
Know and use multiple project management and software development methodologies as appropriate to the projects
Engage, promote and improve the ISI’s Project Management methodology
Actively participate in the execution of the overall ISI strategy within the organization
Demonstrate advanced project management expertise and leadership skills by training and mentoring others on project management best practices
Qualifications – those that you must have
Minimum 3 years proven record of on time and on budget project delivery
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in technical discipline)
PMP or related professional certification
Experienced in full life-cycle technical project management
Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively and efficiently
Self-driven, motivated and high work rate
Highly analytic and detailed-oriented
Excellent inter-personal skills
Articulate verbally and in writing
Excellent communicator and presenter
Demonstrated ability to effectively use a wide range of skills (listening, questioning, qualifying, gaining commitment, negotiating, summarizing, closing etc.)
