Job Details:
This position is responsible for design, approach, planning and execution of IT Learning & Development initiatives in support of the IT business and talent strategy. Scope consists of overall program management for learning programs and university recruiting programs. Key objectives are to enable attracting, growing, and retaining top talent through programs that enable team members to be their best selves. This role requires cross functional collaboration and engagement with all levels of the Tech@Tyson organization to drive enablement and adoption of new or established new programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with all levels of the IT organization to diagnose needs and provide solutions that increase team member performance, accelerate integration into the team and drive overall effectiveness.
Design and deliver high quality learning and development programs, tools, resources and activities.
Drive for execution of programs on time and with high quality, leading initiative teams towards successful delivery of the program.
Run all special projects driven from within the Tech@Tyson Learning Management Office.
Incorporate key Tyson Foods differentiators into program design and delivery. Identify areas where we can leverage the Tyson Talent Culture COE for development and delivery of learning programs.
Support the learning and development needs of large events and conferences with inspiring, Tyson specific learning experiences by developing rich, effective, inspiring conferences for participants.
Use technology industry best practices, external networking and advanced learning methods to deliver innovative programs and tools.
Establish key metrics to evaluate ROI and program effectiveness.
Requirements:
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
Required
Experience: 10 plus years relevant work experience in Project Management, IT, recruiting, and/or learning & development
1 year of proven experience leading medium to large projects
Preferred
5 years experience on IT projects implementing behavioral change programs/education programs on standards, processes, and procedures so that team members have awareness of expectations and Learning Management Office is able to measure team member adoption of the change.
5 years leading projects
1 years of experience leading programs of projects
Experience organizing and planning large events and conferences to support team member growth and development. Experience with the event logistics and developing rich, effective, inspiring content for participants.
Advanced MS Office skills
Experience with Microsoft Planner
Experience with Project Management software solutions
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills both in person and virtually.
Comfortable influencing all levels of the organization including senior management.
Special Skills:
High sense of urgency and self-starter who is resourceful and capable of evaluating business situations and rapidly establishing action plans.
High energy leader who is engaging and interactive with presentation delivery and daily interaction with team members
Leader of behavioral change and transformational initiatives who leads with why and inspires action
Proven experience in conceptualizing, defining and leading large-scale programs across a matrix organization.
Experience measuring and communicating the value of learning and ROI.
Team player with strong collaboration skills.
Demonstrates creativity and ability to drive innovative, interactive solutions.
Strong organizational and planning skills
