Proposition
The FM Project Coordinator is primarily responsible in coordinating all workspace and FM adhoc projects with the Facilities Management site team of Shell, and the various teams within CIM such as HSE, Asset Protection, IT, Comms Advisor, and HR with the Project team of RE Commercial Deals and Projects (CDP) and the IFM partner vendor JLL, among others. The Project Coordinator is also responsible in linking with the building landlord/lessor for coordination or approvals including the processing of landlord work permits and gate passes as required. The role also plays a vital role in HSSE MS implementation to include key areas as Frontline Work Execution and IOGP LSR roll-out, and on Net Zero Emission and Respecting initiatives for workspace and FM adhoc projects.
The role regularly connects and maintains a working relationship with several networks in the centre and relevant stakeholders such as those in the business/LOBs in the execution of the different projects.

What’s the Role

FM Projects Coordinator for SBO-Manila, and the key dimensions are as follows:
High-rise facility operating 24/7 with office workspaces/desks including meeting rooms, collaboration areas, energy hubs, cafeteria locations, Wellness hub with Fitness Centre and other common amenities
No direct reports, and as part of the centre real estate facilities management (FM) team, working with the centre facilities management provider and the real estate regional portfolio manager, the appointed project consultants, local Project manager, and local contractor
Primarily responsible in supporting the RE Facilities Manage for the coordination of all workspace projects and FM adhoc projects with relevant internal and external contractors, including project consultants, contractors and the site FM partner
Supports the site RE Hard Services Manager and RE Services Manager in the internal moves/transfers of staff and contractors to swing spaces as maybe required during the project
Supports the RE Hard Services Manager and RE Services Manager of the site in the execution of FM adhoc projects for the year in coordination with the centre facilities management partner
Supports the RE Facilities Manager in the assurance process and reporting of the workspace projects and FM adhoc projects to include local compliance to government regulatory requirements, and internal health and safety control framework implementation (as a Permit to Work Issuer)
Supports the RE Facilities Manager in the regular review and assessment of business risks related to the implementation of projects in FM
Supports the FM Business Continuity Response Team members such as on building and RE systems reliability monitoring and assessment (primary site) in collaboration with the facilities management vendor and the project team during a BCP event
Financial management responsibilities include supporting the RE Facilities Manager in the submission of monthly accrual reports, spend tracking and updating of cost & expenses report monthly on FM adhoc projects
Responsible in liaising with the building landlord on project activities to include those that may involve base building common equipment & areas and landlord permits

Presentation skills
High degree educational background (technical) – Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
Good understanding of HSSE risks (including mitigation plans) in a project environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English, min)
Strong collaboration skills with various internal and external stakeholders and can operate with a diverse set or working environments, people and cultures.
The role involves extensive interactions with various stakeholders and therefore requires a combination of intellect, maturity, strength of character, and an ability to earn respect.
This is a project-based role with minimum of 1 year tenure.
