The Technical Program Management is responsible for leading program management from product concept to production. In this role, you will partner with engineers, product managers, and scientists to help create a high quality product to launch and continue to develop.
Critical Responsibilities:


Partner with engineers, product managers, and scientists to help create a high-quality product and launch it
Manage complex projects, demonstrate a high degree of ownership and innovation
Own, drive and actively facilitate the interaction of cross-functional stakeholders to bring products to market, including managing risks, schedule, cost and quality
Drive program timelines and milestones as agreed upon with program leads, identify and mitigate risks, resolve dependencies, unblock progress, and escalate issues
Plan and execute on development builds, test plans and failure analysis
Drive trade-off discussions internally for increases in features or scope
Manage sustaining production of products and lead post-launch failure analysis
Drive process improvements, metrics to improve the overall team performance and efficiency
Strong knowledge of software development and data engineering processes and best practices.
Demonstrate the curiosity and willingness to learn the product suite and feature set and understand enough to drive to closure both functional and technical discussions.
High level of expertise with the Agile/Scrum process and competence with tools like JIRA to manage agile projects - should have been a Scrum master and actively managed a distributed scrum team
In order to be successful in this role, you'll excel at influencing without authority, dealing with ambiguity, and are able to understand technical details quickly and work with a highly technical team.
What you bring to the role:


Strong engineering program management background with experience in delivering with distributed teams and driving a culture of collaboration
Expertise in various project management tools like Jira, reports, tableau
Ability to understand technical and functional topics and create documentation, to understand discussions and capture key takeaways and actions, think through test scenarios, and contribute to team goals.
Expertise in Agile/Scrum process.

5 yrs of experience in managing complex projects through the full product development life cycle
Ability to quickly understand and communicate tradeoffs between engineering design, schedule and cost
Excellent communicator, relationship builder and able to thrive in multi-functional team engagement
Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
Self-motivated, action-driven and biased towards results, and has a strong sense of ownership
Ability to influence without authority - should have worked in a matrixed environment driving delivery
Self- starter - being a startup, our processes and people are evolving, and we need someone who can come in, observe and identify opportunities and roll up their sleeves to contribute to the solution; a track record of this would be great to see.
