The Team
The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows department is a creative hub within omni-channel organization. This department oversees the creative strategy, development, and execution of product presentations across Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brand and all points of sale. This includes full-price retail stores, franchise locations, wholesale shop-in-shops, concession, and outlet channels. The Tommy Hilfiger global team sets global direction and works collaboratively with two other regional hubs in: New York and Hong Kong. To extend this outreach the team is set-up to also support the needs of local markets across Americas, EMEA, and the Asia Pacific. This team works in parallel with the global marketing team on a 360 concept and consumer messaging approach. The Calvin Klein regional team collaborates with the New York global headquarters on adapted direction to support the EMEA business needs. This includes visual merchandising, campaign roll out, and display strategies across the region. This team works in collaboration with numerous functions across the omni-channel business as well as local markets. The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows teams are responsible for creating and communicating all Visual Merchandising tools including all seasonal guidelines, principles, and training tools for all divisions across the Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brands. Tools that will help provide a look and feel that represent both brands and protects its core DNA and ensures that retail/franchise stores, shop-in-shops, and outlets are delivering premium consumer experience through dynamic product presentation. This is supported by strong collaboration with store concept & design, marketing, merchandising, markets and all areas of the omni-channel team to ensure that the omni-channel visual merchandising, display, and windows strategy, the countries and point of sale needs are met.
The Position
The Senior Manager, Visual Strategic Projects reports into the Director, Visual Communications & Strategy TH Global & PVH EMEA.
In this role, you will be an integral partner to the VM, windows and communications leadership team for our Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands. Your main objective is to drive the teams project portfolio planning, designing effective project management frameworks that ensure work remains aligned with our strategic brand and commercial goals. You will forge strong partnerships with omnichannel and market leads, acting as a key partner in enabling our teams to foster collaboration and alignment across our ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Projects
Lead the overall strategic project planning framework for VM, windows and communications leadership team.
Partner with omnichannel leadership to integrate the seasonal brand and commercial strategies within our evolving role of store framework for all channels.
Lead strategic project initiatives, supporting with methodology, stakeholder management, meeting facilitation, communication coordination and monitoring and reporting project progress to VM, windows & communications leadership.
Develop high-quality presentation deliverables related to key strategic projects.
Gather, process and communicate market and consumer insights with the VM, windows, and communications management team and wider business to support the development of a consumer centric mindset and data-driven decision making.
Support Junior Specialist VM, Display & Windows Operations to drive operational excellence in support of strategic projects and priorities.
Strategic Priorities
Support and guide our leadership team in ensuring our strategic business priorities are embedded within the objectives of each team and area of expertise.
Drive the integration of human resource initiatives including leadership behaviors into our ways of working.
Liase with I&D and HR teams on measuring and forecasting diversity metrics and ensure compliance with our company guidelines, partnering with each team lead to cultivating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Partner with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure our company sustainability initiatives and targets are embedded within our VM, windows and communications strategies.
The Ideal Candidate
University or business school degree, with a business, project management or consulting focus.
Approximately 5 – 7 years’ relevant work experience within project/change-management, with a proven track record of driving cross-functional, high change-impact programs and strategies.
Excellent understanding of PM systems, tools and techniques, ideally with experience working with an agile methodology.
Previous experience within omnichannel or consumer focused, fast changing environment with strong market and commercial awareness.
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills and an ability to interact with different levels of a multi-cultural, international organization.
Excellent analytical skills and a curious mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written [English].
Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to create high quality presentations with clear data visualization.
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
Ability to coach and lead through example
Proficient with Microsoft, Keynote and Adobe creative suite.
