Please note that you will have to create a new account on the application page.POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead, TPG Portfolio Resource Capacity Planning will be responsible for establishing and maturing global TPG resource and capacity management capabilities that will support project portfolio planning and execution. As resource management experts, this area will drive the discipline and practices across TPG functions, and will implement fit-for-purpose tools, systems, and processes to achieve resource and capacity management excellence. In collaboration with project teams, functional leads, and enabling business partners, this area will ensure optimal resource plans, assignments, and allocations to deliver the TPG portfolio in alignment with strategic priorities as defined by the CIO and senior leadership.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: Develop and implement resource and capacity management processes and tools that align project, resources and costs to achieve increased efficiency in portfolio planning and execution.Coordinate strategic alignment of resources by working with project teams, functional line managers, and business operations teams to allocate and assign resources to project-based work in alignment with portfolio priorities.Support functions in conducting long-term resource needs analysis by aligning on assumptions for annual business planning including portfolio regression, capacity strategies, and financial targets.Conduct periodic resource assessments to identify risks and coordinate proposals for resolution of resource constraints.Coordinate periodic analysis of resource impacts of portfolio changes.Develop resource demand models and forecasting algorithms to support long-range planning.Provide leadership as business process experts for Resource Management and drive consistent resource management processes across TPG functions; identify and lead changes to processes and tools in order to drive continuous improvement.Ensure enterprise and project portfolio systems accurately reflect resource capacity and project demand across the entire portfolio.Drive systematic improvements to data quality and work with teams to improve data and reporting to better support resource management & capacity planning.Collaborate with Portfolio Leads, Project Leads, and in partnership with all relevant stakeholders, support portfolio resource & capacity performance tracking and reporting.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience as a project manager leading cross-functional project teams in a matrixed, global environment, including those with complex technical, geographic, and/or regulatory elementsDemonstrated experience in developing capacity-resource management capabilities consisting of large global resource pools (500+) supporting complex portfolios, preferably in an Informational Technology/Product Development environmentExperience designing, deploying, and supporting PPM, reporting, or business operations solutions, with an emphasis on resource capacity planning; PMO team member experience a plusDemonstrated experience in maturing a capacity planning discipline in a large multi-national enterpriseMicrosoft Project and Project Server proficiency to include schedule planning, schedule development, and schedule analysisProficient in the use of enterprise Project Management, Business Intelligence, (BI), and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, or similar.
