Reporting directly to the Senior Director of IT Finance & Procurement for Enabling Functions, this individual contributor role will be one-part strategic, one-part operation excellence and one-part game changer. The Enabling Functions have a strong portfolio with 100 projects funded around $75MM. The IT Project Manager work will partner across IT, Engineering, Business Ops, Procurement, Finance, and other functions to understand the key business drivers and to effectively execute programs and projects to deliver solutions at an enterprise level. This role will establish, implement, develop, and control best practices for project management throughout the organization. This includes defining and documenting all policies and processes of project lifecycles to deliver projects according to plan and within budget. The PMO will also create formal methodologies for defining project key performance metrics and assist in resource allocation.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:


Minimum 5 years of experience as a project/program manager leading SAP (SAP ECC, S4 HANA) projects and managing software development lifecycles

4 years of experience leading project management efforts having managed multiple projects at a time; project management offices (PMO) with significant budget and planning requirements.

Advanced experience in SAP FI/CO, Procurement, Product Costing and Material Ledger, Sales & Distribution modules (all other SAP modules a plus).

Define how the scope goals and deliverables of projects should support business goals in collaboration with senior management.

Demonstrated success delivering numerous projects on time, meeting requirements and with high team satisfaction, including some complex projects and projects involving a number of project staff and users; experience implementing cloud-based IT solutions; demonstrated expertise utilizing multiple project methodologies, such as Agile.

Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project lifecycle.

Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to project managers owners sponsors team members and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion.

Provide tools to determine project timelines and milestones deliverables.

Determine frequency and content of status reports from project managers analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas mitigate project risks.

Effectively manage project teams time and allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed.

Where required negotiate with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.

Assess and approve/disapprove need for additional staff or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project s lifecycle.

Indirectly manage other project managers of all projects within the PMO portfolio.

Communicate project management standards and techniques to the appropriate training staff.

Review budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.

Track and monitor all project milestones and deliverables. Identify and manage all project dependencies and critical path.

Create project charters, accept and assess status reports, manage change requests and requirements documentation to ensure smooth project progression.

Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify key successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Develop best practices techniques and tools for project planning execution project management ongoing milestone deliverable tracking communication and key performance metrics.

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise new project team leads team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work.

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within and between various project teams.
Requirements:


Education: Bachelor s degree in the field of computer science business administration or related field. Master s degree in one these fields preferred. Equivalent experience may be acceptable. PMP or CSM Certification preferred

Experience: 5 plus years direct work experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of process development and execution. IT Program management experience required. Strong familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project JIRA and Excel. Experience in developing and deploying project best practices policies.

Computer Skills: Advanced PC skills using Microsoft Office products and MS Project for schedule and resource capacity planning.

Communication Skills: Must exhibit strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to the different levels of the organization.

Supervisory: None

Travel: Minimal travel (10%) depending upon project assignment
