POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Director, GTM Operations is responsible for leading and establishing the global GTM operating model for the Global Consumer Marketing Organization (CMO). Working heavily with Project Management, Creative, and Marketing teams and our cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Merchandising, and Retail, this role is responsible for developing strategic and efficient workflows and processes that will guide and inform CMO teams in how to effectively bring campaigns from strategy to launch. This leader is also responsible for leading a cross-functional team against special CMO level programs for implementation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
GTM Operations:
Lead and develop global GTM strategy, processes, templates, and forums that drive operational efficiencies and steer campaign launches
Work in partnership with Product, Retail, and Regions to support cross-functional needs and GTM timelines
Instill ways of work on project alignment, ownership, role expectations, and problem solving & decision durability
Create a culture of collaboration and transparency within clear standards and processes for large breadth of stakeholder groups
Special Projects:
Lead the program management of special projects for the CMO group, to launch large-scale projects that require key cross-functional input
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of GTM Operations and Program Managers to champion new established ways of working within the CMO, deliver operational excellence, and launch special projects for the global marketing organization
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience:
10+ years of marketing or project management experience with strength in cross-functional collaboration, driving complex projects and marketing initiatives
Strong background in the fashion, retail or consumer goods industries, advertising also a plus
Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in own areas of scope and cross-functional projects and activities
Broad understanding of the end-to-end processes of key marketing functions
Forward-thinking with a balance of analytical and visionary thinking; proven success developing and implementing new, innovative ideas and processes
Progressive experience in business process design with clear understanding of cross-functional stakeholders and teams
Strong business acumen to understand and apply new processes effectively to support Calvin Klein existing and planned future business priorities
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master's degree or MBA preferred (or equivalent work experience)

Collaborates across program, functional and business leads to develop and manage objectives, scope, budget and timelines for key projects/initiatives
Develops and executes communication strategies to drive change management, in support of new processes and ways of work
Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure clarity and alignment around vision/direction of the CMO GTM process, key strategic decisions and business performance
Project Management Leadership – Leading project management for key CMO-level projects
Foster cross-functional collaboration among key project stakeholders to drive project progress forward
Model communication excellence for project planning, alignment, and decision-making
Documenting risks and issues along with mitigation to solve
Develop project timeline and key milestones and ensure they are met
Champion and operationalize best practice processes
Ability to influence without direct authority, especially with senior executives
Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with ability to facilitate and gain alignment in cross-functional meeting settings
Internal: Product, Merchandising, Retail Business Channels, Regional Marketing / Business Leaders, PMO, Marketing, Creative, Store Design & Visual Merchandising, eCom/CK.com, Brand and Corporate Communications
External: External vendors and consultants, licensees
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct: Global GTM Operations; Project and Program Management
DECISION MAKING: Makes strategic decisions on the GTM operating model and process. Works in partnership with CMO, NA, and Regional senior leaders to define roles and responsibilities and project structure
RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Continue to create new procedures and identify best solutions to improve efficiency globally. Must be flexible and resourceful to changing opinions to create effective global operating model for GTM processes that fosters collaboration and innovation and delivers strong business/financial impact
