Audio Visual Technical Project Manager (more of a junior position, not a senior tech PM)
The Audio Visual Project Manager must possess strong Project Management, Customer Service skills and have a strong technical aptitude. The Project Manager plans, organizes, leads, and monitors the activities of video conferencing and A/V equipment deployments while maintaining overall control of the schedule and committed deliverables, seeking managerial guidance and approvals as necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor technical projects of varying complexity from initiation through delivery
Manage multiple installations and service projects simultaneously
High degree of quality customer communication including SOW, timelines, schedules, status, progress, problems and potential delays
Resolve and effectively manage project related issues and change orders to ensure customers receive a high level of service
Coordinate shipping, delivery, installation and testing activities with technicians and customers
Review orders for completeness, confirm customer readiness, schedule installations
Develop customer relationships and communicates all project statuses to customer, sales
Foster vendor / subcontractor relationships
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Maintain awareness of any potential problems and work to mitigate risks
Monitor project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project stakeholders
Update database with project and equipment details
Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met
Videoconferencing and/or A/V Integrated Systems experience
Candidate should be very energetic and detailed oriented with great follow up

High degree of computer literacy (MS Office Suite, MS Project, Outlook, databases, and others).
Self-Motivated, Professional, Courteous and Dependable.
Ability to handle a variety of people and personalities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
Minimum 2 years of related project management and customer service experience
Project Management certifications a plus
