About this Role
LivePerson is growing fast, and we want our technology to keep up. We’ve formed a team that’s focused on evolving our technology, engineering tools, and processes so we can scale faster than ever before. We’re seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to help define how we accomplish this goal, and to help us achieve it.
In this role you will:
Owning critical programs that drive outcomes attached to some of Live Person’s most important goals
Working collaboratively with cross-functional peers and leaders across our engineering and product teams as well as third-party vendors
Diving deep with vertical teams to understand their objectives, plans, status, and risks, and how their deliverables impact your overall program
Acting as an escalation point for problems that vertical teams have and organize the group around finding solutions
Representing plans, status, and risks of your program to executive leadership, both in written and verbal formats
Managing organizational processes meant to provide transparency into goals, plans, status, and outcomes; Driving improvements where organizational processes are inefficient; Driving elimination of processes that don’t make the organization more efficient.
Educating other TPMs on best practices for the above activities; Mentoring other TPMs to help develop the next generation of Principal TPMs at LivePerson.
Your qualifications are:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent training or work experience.
10 years of project management experience, especially with technical software projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
Experience driving outcomes that improve the quality of the work done by engineering teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to adapt communication style to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences
Proven ability to influence without authority up through the VP level
roven ability to work in a fully remote environment with people across the globe
Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g PMP, Scrum Master, Google Cloud Solutions Architect)
