Job Summary:
This position provides the strategic planning, overall management and leadership to execute project authorizations with optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness. The Project Manager requires ability to simultaneously manage and deliver fast-paced projects from proposal stage to close-out. This position requires excellent prioritization skills with high attention to detail to ensure scope and expected deliverables are properly defined and executed. Requires close engagement with customers, sales, engineering, procurement, production, and technical field service teams to deliver a turn-key product/functionality from manufacturing to rig while closely managing a high-margin budget and project variations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manages and assumes complete responsibility for the assigned projects from initial proposal to close-out.
Develops comprehensive scopes of work and supply utilizing multiple teams across the organization.
Sets up and manages P&L/deliverables per project; Initiates time-sensitive VOR change orders and approvals with customer.
Generates project schedules, plans, and budgets for the various disciplines working on the project.
Identifies and closely assesses project risks and contingencies throughout life of project.
Acts as sole representative to sales, procurement, production, quality, engineering, and field installation teams during the course of the project.
Defines, coordinates, and prepares field installation personnel prior to deployment. Works closely with field installation techs that are present on rig/remote locations.
Establishes criteria for measuring performance against standards and takes appropriate actions to ensure planned performance objectives are within the framework of company policies and contract requirements.
Liaises closely with account managers and customer service reps (CSRs) to monitor purchasing requests for quotes and purchase requisitions for equipment, materials, fabrication, and services to meet customer contract requirements.
Reviews and manages project level work and sales orders; works closely with manufacturing and sales departments.
Provides weekly project dashboard updates to managers and department heads. Presents project overviews to upper management on monthly basis.
Maintains comprehensive project documentation, spreadsheets and reports.
Logs project lessons learned real-time and collaborates with department head to support continual improvement processes.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
5 to 7 years of Project Management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
Speak effectively before customers, vendors, and employees at all levels within the organization.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Write routine reports and correspondence.
Document work instructions for simple and complex tasks.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively.
Provide flexible availability for customers and projects during and outside business hours
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer project management experience in the oilfield and/or manufacturing industries.
Manufacturing planning and execution software experience preferred.
CPM, APICS CPIM, and PMP is a plus.
