We are looking for a Preconstruction Manager that will help pursue, win, and manage the preconstruction portion of new projects.
Job Title
: Preconstruction Manager
Pay
: $100,000
Job Responsibilities:
Work with Business Development Manager to establish and track project leads
Meet with clients to gain information about upcoming project needs
Develop a strategy to win projects sourced through a qualifications-based process
Provide written technical content for proposals
Provide client-specific information / vision / hot-buttons for proposals
Review and edit draft proposals
Support and participate in the proposal interview process
Lead preconstruction effort for JOC / CMAR / DB projects
Negotiate preconstruction services scope and fee
Develop preconstruction services schedule and milestones
Work with Estimating to develop price proposals and GMP's
Work with Operations to develop work plans
Negotiate construction services contracts
Hand-off projects to Operations for construction
Remain engaged at a high level throughout construction to ensure client satisfaction
Skills & Requirements:
5 years civil construction Project Management / Estimating experience
Thorough understanding of JOC / CMAR / DB contract process
Strong business development skills
Strong technical writing skills
Ability to lead projects from pursuit through preconstruction
