The role of the Sr Manager - Continuous Improvement is to establish, implement and will strategically lead a team of continuous improvement project managers.
Responsibilities include the following:
Strong knowledge of practical lean manufacturing principles. (Expertise in Six Sigma)
Strong leadership and change agent skills
Ability to teach and coach employees at all levels in the use of lean tools presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent project management skills.
Creative in problem solving and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems.
Able to communicate effectively
Systematic problem-solving skills
Collaborative work style
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Degrees in Engineering, computer science, business administration or Operations Management are beneficial. Master’s degree in one these fields preferred. Equivalent experience may be acceptable. Master Black Belt Required and PMP Certification would be great to have.
Experience: 8 plus years’ experience in Continuous Improvement-related positions in Operations experience in Change Management or Relationship Management required.
Computer Skills: Advanced PC skills using Microsoft Office products and MS Project for schedule and resource capacity planning.
Communication Skills: Must exhibit strong written and oral communication skills, written and presentation skills are required. Project management experience.
Supervisory: Yes
Travel: Up to 60% travel.
