FICO Technical Project Manager
Location - Remote
Duration - Long Term Contract
Responsibilities
Understand the overall program and create a project plan for SAP implementation projects
Collaborate with the business to strategize the program
Manage project deliverables based on the project delivery framework
Oversee procurement processes, including contracts, purchasing, and invoices
Manage project risks, issues, actions, and decisions
Coordinate and manage cutover activities during deployment
Provide regular communication on project statuses
Monitor project progress and implement changes as necessary
Facilitate project meetings and distribute meeting minutes
Ensure compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards
Compile project reports and promptly inform management of problems or issues
Ensure adherence to best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies
Conduct daily stand-up meetings
Prepare materials for operating and executive steering committees
Coordinate with on-site engineers and attend customer calls
Raise risks, issues, and escalations to senior management and customers
Create quality documents, collect metrics data, and conduct audits
Perform value creation and knowledge management activities
Create project plans and track schedules for on-time delivery according to defined quality standards
Ensure process improvement and compliance
Participate in technical design discussions and review technical documents
Required Qualifications
Seasoned IT project manager with SAP S4 HANA implementation experience
Strong knowledge of SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) modules
Strong project management skills
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with the Life Sciences domain (a plus)
PMP certification (preferred)
