As a Project Manager for Smart Solutions, you will be a key member of the team that's responsible for managing the complete life cycle of a high volume of moderately-to-highly complex Smart Solution installation projects for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. This includes approvals, planning, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Develops budgets, timelines and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracks critical project achievements. Works with vendors and team to establish and achieve goals. Coordinates the activities of a cross-functional team including exempt and non-exempt employees. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience. Must be comfortable working a high-volume of complex projects and translating order processes into new processes.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:


Work with key clients and stakeholders (both internal and external) to scope, develop, execute & track project requirements, milestones, dependencies, risks and follow-ups/ actions. Work across cross-functional teams may include third party vendors and other resources
Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.
Apply critical thinking to identify areas of opportunity and improvements
Manages project status and information in the form of formal briefings, project update meetings and written, electronic and graphic reports.
Develops, maintains and manages detailed project plans, action item registers and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects. Provides overall prioritization and director of work assignments, team resources etc. Monitor and creates project deliverables.
Coordinates with other work streams, projects and initiatives which may impact successful completion of project.
Manages all assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands and maintaining overall project ownership.
Acts as a single point of contact for project status. Maintains communication with stakeholders.
Quickly escalate issues to other groups or departments where support is needed
Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management. Ensures effective implementation of solutions/changes.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.


Qualifications:


5 years as a Project Manager in communications, technology or consulting firm industries preferred
Familiarity/ deep interest in communications, IoT and smart technologies
Considerable experience and communication ability working cross-functional, with technical and operational teams translating business goals into tangible and executable plans
Organized self-starter exceptionally skilled at prioritization and management of multiple deliverables, driving goals to completion under tight deadlines and thrives in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
A solid team player and independent thinker with the creative ability to approach and solve complex problems with hands-on, roll-up sleeves mentality
High energy required to maintain a sense of urgency throughout the entire project lifecycle, the ability to pivot and adapt quickly in a fast-paced constantly evolving project
Fluency in project management, collaboration, and visualization tools including, but not limited to (Smartsheet, MS Office Suite - PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio)
