Residential Project Superintendent
The Project Superintendent is responsible for cost management, planning and directing the overall field activities for construction projects and contracts. This position oversees multiple facets of the projects and field activities to maximize production and increase efficiency. This position may involve travel to out-of-state office and projects.
Work with Director to establish company policy and procedures for field project production.
Interface with Director, Project Managers, superintendents, customers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
Manage Lump Sum, GMP and Cost Plus projects awarded by clients.
Work with estimators on RFP's.
Create schedule's for projects.
Interface with Project Controls on cost management.
Approve personnel schedules and monitor the level of work performed.
Assign personnel and equipment according to project requirements.
Oversee and review cost estimates for project equipment and supplies as required.
Monitor project scope, cost control, schedules, and budget.
Conduct field reviews to inspect work progress and ensure conformance with project specifications.
Oversee work status and progress reports.
Develop short and long-term goals and objectives for the department.
Supervise and provide guidance to department personnel.
Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
Support the zero-incident safety culture.
Work with Safety officer to review JSSP's and enforce safe work practices.
Other duties as required.
