Long Standing Mid-Size financial client seeks a Business Process Analyst for a large scale ERP implementation.
This is a 2 year project so need long term contractors to stay committed for the implementation.
Consult with the business to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities, and analyze system solutions to fulfill those business requirements
Utilize structured interview techniques to identify, analyze and document business requirements and priorities
Document objectives, use cases, requirements and specifications, produce and maintain diagrams of business processes and system workflows
Create documentation describing solutions to achieve requirements according to established guidelines and standards
Evaluate the design of existing systems, identify obstacles or flaws and lead research to identify effective solutions
Assist the Project Manager with business owner relations
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams
Candidate will be documenting all current state business process fo and to-be throoughout stages.
This will be very detailed documentation and interviewing of business leaders.
This multi year project needs a hybrid Business Analyst (process mapping, documentation, vendor management, implementation, integration)
Technology experience:
experience with ERP or large package application implementations (preferably financial based)
business process management
business process mapping, engineering, and improvement
documenting business processes and supporting materials (technical writing - procedures, policies, process narratives, mapping, decomposition, etc.)
requirements gathering and definition
configuration of large package application
building and/or contributing to test strategy, test plans, etc.
developing or contributing to training material, classes, program
Project experience:
understanding of formal/PMI project management concepts
experience with project management methodology
understanding of software development life cycle
Experience with large vendor software package implementation (ex: ERP) that have full organizational impact – business change; understanding integration with legacy applications; understanding conversion impacts
Business process engineering relative to implementing large technology solutions
Possesses extensive knowledge and experience in leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvements that impact cross-business units/ organizational changes
Demonstrated knowledge of project management life cycle and hands-on experience and proficiency using full project life-cycle methodologies and tools
Behavioral traits that exhibit team orientation, leadership, interpersonal communications, flexibility, positive attitude, adaptability, customer-supplier responsiveness, systemic thinking and appreciation for detailed work
Strong analytical skills, creativity and a working understanding of Information Systems
