POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, Project Management for Collaborations is responsible for leading the marketing function through key marketing campaigns and activations for branded collaborations and partnerships. Working heavily with Global Product, Creative, and Marketing teams and our cross-functional stakeholders in regional offices, Merchandising, and Retail, this role is responsible for developing strategic and efficient workflows to launch brand and product campaigns for high visibility collaborations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Act as point of contact for global or regional marketing teams as the main project manager for the marketing and creative functions of the organization
Drives timelines, milestones, risk mitigations, and decisions to further the end to end campaign strategy, development, and launch globally
Work with external agencies, partners, and collaborators in a highly confidential environment
Support the development of workflow procedures and best practices in partnership with the rest of the Project Management team and senior leaders
Have thorough understanding of Marketing, Creative, and Product department roles and responsibilities
Facilitate cross-discipline and cross-partner collaboration
Identify problems and propose solutions to keep moving towards completion
Exercise project management best practices include status reporting and meetings, risk mitigation activities, and executive storytelling
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
Minimum 7+ years proven and progressive project management experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Skills:
Demonstration of strong project management leadership for high visibility, highly complex partnerships and activations
Strong interpersonal skills; positive, energetic and open minded
Strong work ethic, and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency
Excellent communication, written and verbal
Be comfortable managing and influencing people who are not direct reports, as well as executive level personnel
Confidently lead, motivate and influence project progress
Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills
Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on tight deadlines
Have a good working knowledge of integrated production disciplines including print, video and digital
Proficient in a PC and Mac environment and familiar with MS Office and Adobe software packages and other software solutions.
