**Northrop Grummans Enterprise Services (ES) is seeking candidates for a** **Accounting Manager 3 role in Redondo Beach, CA (no teleworking available).** **This individual will report to the Director, Accounting Services.**
**Please note:**
**This position does NOT offer telework and will require an on site presence in Redondo Beach, CA**
**This position requires eligible candidates to have an active TS clearance**
This position plays a key role in leading the Program Accounting Payment Office to process Contract Billings, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Accounts Receivable reporting and resolution. This position is also requires the timely and accurate reporting in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) controls.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
Cash application of all receivables.
Month-end and Quarter-end reporting and forecasting
Provides accounts payable and billing support services as agreed with program areas
Ensures that all aspects of the services follow company and regulatory controls
Review of journal vouchers, contract billings and supplier disbursements.
Subcontract/contract closeout support.
Fosters a diverse, inclusive, and engaging team environment that is focused on high performance and operational excellence.
Liaison with Sectors, Program Offices, compliance and government customers, and Sector/Division leadership.
Support department initiatives to identify and coordinate process improvement
DCAA incurred cost and billing audit support for all audits by internal and external auditors
**Basic Qualifications**
**To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:**
Must have U.S. Citizenship with active or current Top Secret Security Clearance
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related with at least 15 years of experience OR 13 years of experience with a MS degree in Accounting, Finance or related
Ability to work on site in Redondo Beach, CA (no telework)
Certified Public Accountant
At least 5 years of management experience
Strong knowledge of government accounting and contracting
Demonstrated process improvement experience
Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines
Experience with GAAP and FAR
Familiarity of financial controls and SOX compliance
**Preferred Qualifications:**
**Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:**
MBA in Business Management or related discipline from an accredited institution
Accounting experience in government contracting
Project management experience
Active SCI preferred
Salary Range: $141,300.00 - $211,900.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
