UI Health Care Information Systems Project Management Office is seeking both experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers that will lead, oversee and manage the installation and deployment of Hospital-wide administrative programs/projects. These positions will be the project liaisons and single point of contact to plan, direct, coordinate and manage the deployment of small, medium and large projects to ensure that goals and objectives are met within the established time frames, budget and hospital requirements; preparing project status reports and resource management, conducting/facilitating project meetings and ensuring the project progresses on schedule, addressing any constraints and resolving problems in a timely manner. These positions will work with a range of stakeholders including staff level employees, department level leadership, hospital administration, medical & clinical staff, division leadership and technical users to analyze project requirements & needs, develop implementation strategies and provide guidance and oversight throughout the program/project management life cycle, serving as change agents for the organization, working effectively in a diverse environment.
Salary Range:
Senior Project Manager (PAE2) is $70,000 to $95,000
Project Manager (PAE1) is $55,000 to $83,000

Education Required:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business or Management, Public Health, Health Administration or a related health industry discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience Required:
Project Management experience implementing and managing multiple programs/projects.
Senior Project Manager: 3 – 5 (minimum) years of program/project management experience implementing multiple medium to large size programs/projects.
Project Manager: 1 – 3 years (minimum) of program/project management experience implementing multiple small to medium size programs/projects.
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong focus on customer service utilizing established PMO Program/Project Management methodology, processes, procedures, tools and techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all levels of management and project team members.
Demonstrated strong project management, organizational and facilitation skills.
Experience leading teams and people to successfully implement change utilizing a positive, can-do attitude to inspire others.
Proficient in Project Management tools such as MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint.
Knowledge of PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge) or similar project management standards
Desirable Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with educational and certification credentials combined with Project Management experience in a health industry.
Project Manager 2 – 4 years of program/project management experience managing small to medium projects in a health industry environment.
PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), AIPM Certified Practicing Project Practitioner (CPPP) or related Project Management entry-level certification.
Senior Project Manager 5 or more years of program/project management experience managing multiple medium to large programs/projects in a health industry environment.
Master Certificate in Project Management, Public Heath Certification or Informatics Certificate.
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM), Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification.
A Master's degree in Business Administration, Business or Management, Public Health, Health Administration or a related Health Industry discipline
