Project Manager - Non-Technical - Senior

Profile

Requirements / Skills:
Has 5-10 years of actual project management experience. Background in Financial Services and/or Operations. Knowledge of transactional systems (i.e. Product Processors) and financial reporting (i.e. General Ledgers) is preferred. Very proficient at MS Suite (Project, Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint). Experience with Oracle and Netezza databases is a plus.
Description:
Plans, directs and coordinates activities for projects to ensure that goals and objectives of those projects are accomplished within prescribed timeframes and budget. May interact with client, customers, and suppliers to meet the objectives of the project. Must be able to develop a project plan with milestones and resource allocation. Must have good PC skills, with knowledge of project planning software, as well as word processing and spreadsheet programs and have working knowledge of the project discipline (e.g., real estate, purchasing, operations). Must have good organizational skills, be analytical, and be able to interact with all levels of management. Needs excellent verbal and written communication skills.
