Complete assigned projects within cost, quality & schedule requirements.nu00a0nAccountabilitiesnnProvide strategic leadership to successfully plan & execute plant closedowns, including management of core closedown team, coordination with manufacturing & alignment with overall site strategynManage the continuous improvement of the overall closedown process, including development of a 1-3 year strategic improvement plan to identify & incorporate key lessons learned into the closedown process to facilitate ongoing process optimizationnDevelop closedown goals & manage the development & integration of complex cross functional closedown activities & associated resources into an integrated closedown plan, schedule & budgetnEnsure internal customer, business functions, EHS & regulatory requirements are met through internal & external staff participating in closedown activitiesnApply process improvement methodologies to achieve improved closedown efficienciesnProvide direction, coaching & mentoring to closedown work package ownersnOptimize the mix of internal resources versus external contractor execution of DAPI US worknCoordinate with project managers, facilities engineers & other impacted functions (EHS, technical support, quality etc.) in the coordination, contractor interaction & execution of work package activities that relate to closedown activitiesnProvide project management services as needed to support the Site Project Portfolio in accordance with all site project processesnResponsible for development & execution of projects identified in addition to primary responsibility as Closedown ManagernResponsible for ensuring project plans accomplish time, quality & cost objectivesnResponsible for adherence to mechanism for monitoring project progress, intervention & problem solving with other line managers or personnelnResponsible for DAPI US site-wide information exchange & communications with site management & other pertinent units regarding closedownnEnsure systems are in place to facilitate training required of personnel supporting closedown processnEnsure that installation, troubleshooting, qualification & validation of equipment meets all commitments laid out by the respective work packages in support of the overall shutdown process & plan, and that critical quality activities such as Return to Service actions are fully identified & planned by respective work package owners in alignment with the Quality teamnOther accountabilities, as assignednnu00a0nRequired QualificationsnnMinimum of five (5) years of proven project management skills in a manufacturing facilitynMinimum of two (2) years of engineering experience in facility infrastructure & manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical environmentnProven expertise in mentoring/development, planning/organizing, managing execution & revising the work plan for complex problems solved by cross functional teamsnnu00a0nDesired QualificationsnnBA/BS degree in engineering or related technical fieldnAbility to read/review design drawings (CAD) with a basic understanding of P&ID, HVAC & Electrical systems; computer literacynUnderstanding of complicated product documentation & standard operating procedures with attention to high-level conceptsnUnderstanding of manufacturing facilities, equipment & maintenancenBasic understanding of contractual documents & ability to create work plans & detailed project schedulesnKnowledge of aseptic production processesnBasic understanding of commissioning & validation processesnnu00a0nPhysical & Other RequirementsnnOccasionally moves equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positionsnConstantly operates a computer & other office equipment using handsnAble to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distractionnAble to work the hours necessary to support a 24/7 continuous manufacturing operationnNovo Nordisk requires all new hires to be fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine prior to the first date of employment.
