About the job
This position is needed to
manage Twilio’s hardware lifecycle in the Americas. As Twilio continues to grow, it is critical that we properly manage hardware available to our fellow Twilions so they are better able to serve our customers. The Hardware Asset Management Specialist position will be key in driving relevant change to business processes, leading to increased efficiencies.
We are looking for a professional with experience in information technology, supply chain and/or related field(s). The person in this role will contribute to Tech Services by assisting in the management of assets fixed in the Americas, liaison between internal customers and hardware vendors and inventory control. To be successful, the person in this role will need to be detail oriented, possess superior interpersonal skills, be results oriented be driven by supply chain efficiency and lean tool implementation.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Lead region specific hardware asset management (daily operations)
Manage the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding deployment of assets to employees, retrieving assets from offboarding employees as well as warranties & service agreements for Twilio hardware (laptops, peripherals, office build equipment, etc.)
Drive standardization, automation and consolidation/centralization of assets
Research asset management best practices, recommend internal & external policies, standards and processes
Collaborate with Tech Services stakeholders and Sourcing to determine hardware order rate based on headcount forecasts and current available inventory
Create purchase requests per the requirements of demand analysis
Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Preferred fields of study: Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of two to three years experience in project management, inventory control, hardware asset management, IT Operations and/or supply chain experience with progressive complexity and responsibility
Experience working directly with vendors & internal stakeholders to execute hardware deployment and retrieval as required
Experience in production planning, procurement and or hardware lifecycle management
Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge and understanding of business issues, priorities, goals and strategy optimization.
Desired:
Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP), Certified IT Asset Disposal (CIAD), Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or equivalent preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented; Proficiency in maintaining records and databases related to inventory management
Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to solve complex problems, manage priorities and drive strategy optimization
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders including internal customers, management, peers and vendors
Location
This role will be based remotely with a preference for candidates in the Denver area.
Approximately
10% travel is expected.

Colorado applicants:
The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado is
$67,760 - $84,700 .
Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
