Description
The Senior Project Manager manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
Enclara, is a wholly owned hospice and palliative care pharmacy business acquired by Humana in 2021. Enclara is the nation's largest full-service pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) specifically for the hospice and palliative care sectors. Serving over 450 customers and nearly 100,000 patients nationally, Enclara works closely with hospices to reduce pharmacy costs, improve patient care and support caregivers through: digital innovations, flexible medication access, one-on-one clinical support, and excellent customer service.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the complete onboarding of new business including new clients, new branches, model conversions, infusion services, non-ADS in-patient units, and digital solutions. This individual will work closely with all internal and external implementation stakeholders. They will be responsible for requirements gathering, creating and managing project plans, communicating project status, managing project risks, and training and support of all levels of hospice staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage multiple complex new business projects
Implementation Requirement Gathering
Create and manage project plans
Communicate project status and manage all open issues
Manage all project tools; Enclara Blueprint Document, Microsoft Project Plans, Agenda/Notes, Issue Tracking Logs, Executive Status Reports, and Lessons Learned
Conduct weekly status meetings with internal and external stakeholders using all project tools
training and support of all levels of hospice staff.
Manage command center calls with all project stakeholders
Escalate all project risks and develop contingency plans
Maintain all project details in Salesforce
Monitor client program 15-30 days post go-live
Manage internal projects as assigned
Future travel potential of up to 25% (for on-site kick off, training and ad hoc meetings, as needed)
Qualifications:
2 years' experience as a Project Manager in the healthcare industry. Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Implementation Project Management experience preferred.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Organization and manages time effectively and efficiently
Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work under pressure to meet changing priorities and deadlines
Strong commitment to client service, teamwork, flexibility and desire to succeed
High-energy with a sense of urgency
Ability to work closely/collaboratively with other departments
The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA degree
3 years' experience as a Project Manager in the healthcare industry. Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Implementation Project Management experience preferred.
PBM or Hospice experience preferred
Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Project and Project Management Tools
Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint desirable
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable
