Renal Denervation is an innovative procedure that helps patients lower blood pressure. The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third to one-half of adults!
We are hiring a high-level **Market Development Physician Referral Strategist** for this exciting therapy. This individual contributor role is highly visible and fast-paced will be responsible for transforming hypertension treatment through market development in a growing business.

**A Day in the Life**
Assess the market and identify barriers to patient referrals early in their hypertension diagnosis, including assessing hospital/clinic hypertension management programs
Plan and execute referral outreach programs aimed at Family Practice/ GP specialties (includes message development, market research, asset planning), including new channel development
Build a long-term global market for Renal Denervation by prioritizing barriers, and developing action plans that will accelerate access to the treatment and increase referrals towards specialists
In collaboration with regional commercial partners, develop innovative new strategies to partner with adjacent hypertension treatments, and/or inform co-promotion opportunities to identify patients earlier in treatment pathway
Implement and monitor the execution of referral linkage plans in partnership with regional commercial partners
Partner with Patient Marketing to ensure coordination and connection to broader global Market Development efforts
Help determine the evolution of product, brand and therapy positioning as needed
Close collaboration with cross-functional business partners and regional colleagues is critical to personal success
Travel for an understanding of customer needs and relationship development is required.
Participate and lead advisory board discussions.
Represent the voice of the customer and drive optimal utilization of market information and analysis to guide insights and decision-making.
Provide senior management and cross-functional partners with updates, reports, content, and presentations regarding marketing initiatives.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
Bachelor's Degree
10 years experience in marketing, sales, sales support or clinical role (8 years with Advanced Degree)
Experience with developing and execution of marketing or market development activities
Program or project management experience
**Nice to Have:**
MBA or advanced degree.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing plans across geographies and customer types
Previous consulting or strategic planning experience
Medical device industry and products experience is preferred
Healthcare System/ Clinic experience preferred
Pharmaceutical industry and product experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to effectively produce and measure business results.
