Based in Denver, you will lead people who perform project management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of internal products or administrative systems. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel. Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent. The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 4 or more years experience.
Basic Function
Develops and manages customer new build or renovation projects from the planning and budgeting phase through customer sign off. Key metrics include Scope, Quality, Cost, and Schedule and typically manage approximately $5M of revenue for the business.
Responsibilities
Identifies project scope; coordinates with Operations, Quality, Sales, Finance and Direct Customers to identify goals, schedule, budget, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
Develops project plans including but not limited to goals, strategy, staffing, and identification of risks, budget, resource requirements, and analysis of development alternatives and communicates with the team.
Responsible for managing 30-40 projects concurrently while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction standards.
Provides accurate revenue forecasting to higher level management on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Develops, tracks, maintains, and manages project plan, budget, and timeline.
Communicates to an array of internal, customer, and contractor officials the status of projects.
Provides additional documentation on project as needed.
Identifies, tracks, and resolves all project risks and issues.
Establishes, modifies, implements, and monitors systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow.
Develops and evaluates resource and staffing plan; monitors schedules and workflow.
Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
Provides day-to-day guidance for project activities; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
Manages project transitions between functional groups and project phases.
Resolves conflicts and keeps morale up.
Interacts with customers with regard to post market surveillance activities.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Has the independence and authority to perform required tasks to ensure all provisions of the quality system are met.
Physical requirements
Heavy work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Must be able to review printed materials.
Must have demonstrated fine motor skills.
Must be able to use sophisticated test and office computer equipment (e.g. calculator, PC, telephone, Broadcast test and measurement equipment etc.).
Ability to work with large pieces of equipment.
Mental requirements
Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
Utilize hand and finger dexterity.
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information.
Skills/Experience required
5 years of experience preferred

Education/training required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
