Description

Care marketing organization is hiring for a Senior Strategy Advancement Professional. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this is a high visibility role that will lead cross functional initiatives to support Marketing and at times Enterprise objectives. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts. Ensures that project execution plans, and procedures are informed by Humana's internal processes, and controls. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Responsibilities


Expert in planning, communication, organization, and collaboration
Experienced in building meaningful and succinct business, project/portfolio review presentations, reporting using data and visual displays
Able to measure and manage project and process metrics
Accountable for task management during execution
Able to execute meaningful and fearless escalation followed by tightly managed remediation
Able to work well under pressure without jeopardizing quality
Curious learner always striving to improve execution and operations
Able to work with unmovable time-frames that can require planning for multiple scenarios and workflows.


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree with strong verbal, and written communication skills
5 years of Project management, leadership experience, and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive multiple initiatives in a matrixed environment
Demonstrable experience in driving multiple priorities in a fast paced, complex environment.
Prior process optimization experience
Ability to influence change and quantify the impact and value
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and a minimum internet connection speed of 10M x 1M


Preferred Qualifications


Master's degree
Lean and/or Six Sigma Certifications
Project Management background
2 years' experience in business consulting, investment banking, or corporate/business unit strategy
