The Senior IT Compliance Professional is primarily focused on identification, risk assessment, monitoring and controls for Citizen Development (aka IT Outside of IT). The Senior IT Compliance Professional works with all parts of IT and Business to identify business technology solutions, assess risk, evaluate controls, and mitigate control gaps. The selected candidate goals will be to help identify business development solutions, assess risk, ensure that appropriate controls exist (business and IT), and that risks to Humana related to the technology are mitigated. Assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Senior IT Compliance Technical Professional - Citizen Development
Description:
The Senior IT Compliance Professional, IT Compliance, is primarily focused on identification, risk assessment, monitoring and controls for Citizen Development (aka IT Outside of IT). The Senior IT Compliance Professional works with all parts of IT and the Business to identify business technology solutions, assess risk, evaluate controls, and mitigate control gaps. The selected candidate will be part of the Business managed technology function, whose goal is to identify business managed technology solutions, assess risk, ensure that appropriate controls exist, policies are adhered to (business and IT), and that risks to Humana related to the technology are mitigated. Assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Senior IT Compliance Professional supports communication, and education of new or changed polices involving risk control; identifies control gaps and supports processes to mitigate and close; facilitates conversations on controls and areas of high risk to determine remediation plans; identifies changes and trends in IT and the business areas impacting the risks around business led technology solutions.
The applicant is expected to have general knowledge of IT principals and best practices in areas such as infrastructure, basic application development practices/standards and IT protocols.
Responsibilities:
The Senior IT Compliance Professional will:
Identify and monitor areas of risk within Humana's Information Technology through reporting and communication
Support communication and education of new or changed polices involving risk control
Evaluate risk controls and collaborates with others on risk mitigation/elimination opportunities
Facilitate risk assessments
Source, collect and analyze data
Collaborate with others on risk mitigation/elimination opportunities
Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, requires minimal direction, and receives guidance where needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Relationship builder
Comfortable with ambiguous situations
Self-starter
Interpersonal skills including oral and written communications
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
Experience summarizing complex data into business deliverable format (written and verbal)
Familiar with IT practices in one or more areas such as (E.g. incident management, system administration, application development standards, database administration, etc.)
Experience working with large data sets, including use of pivot tables and merging of data sets
Preferred Qualifications
Robust experience in IT Infrastructure management, incident/problem management and/or system administration
Metrics and report development experience
Demonstrated project management experience, including cross-functional teams
Broad knowledge of Humana's technology within Business Operations
Exposure to Humana's processes involving software procurement, data governance, cloud services, SAAS management
Broad knowledge of Humana's technology framework
Humana Vaccination Statement
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
