**Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Project Manager (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Fnd Mgmt General Admin at Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA.**
This position is responsible for leading complex projects endorsed by Swedish Administration. This position focuses on using a standardized project management and quality improvement methodology to facilitate change within the institution. Duties include identification of resource requirements, project plans, project schedules, and working with other departments and services within the health system affected by the scope relating to the implementation of the assigned projects. Administers the process of analyzing requirements and makes recommendations for system and process change. Assures analysis and management of the total needs of the assigned department for select initiatives.
**In this position you will:**
Collaborate with Foundation colleagues and SHS key constituents to ensure portfolio of annual Foundation projects are executed.
Manage client expectations from initial problem identification and through the project lifecycle.
Develop and gain sponsor approval and sign off of the project charter and work breakdown schedule.
Develops and leads the project team to the delivery of successful project outcomes.
Builds and manages multiple, multi-functional collaborative project and/or work teams.
Provides expert support to Foundation team in prioritizing deliverables and objectives rapidly in an ever-changing environment.
Manages the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project budget, task dependencies, and schedule.
Scope, risk and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans.
Develops root cause analyses and process improvement plans.
Develops, initiates, and manages a communication plan, including regular project status reports.
**Qualifications:**
**Required qualifications for this position include:**
Bachelor's Degree
4 years Non-profit or Development Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or or Equivalent Experience.
2 years Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work effectively to build relationships with colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multiple project teams, product development lifecycle, or quality lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment.
Exercises sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementation.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planning.
Excellent written and oral communication that is timely, accurate, professional, consistent and targeted to the appropriate audience.
Demonstrated ability to inform and influence senior leadership, management, and individuals in various parts of the organization to work toward successful outcomes.
Experience in managing projects in a complex, matrixed environment.
**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**
Master's Degree
