Description
The Project Manager manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project. Prepares designs and work specifications; develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. This role monitors performance and recommends scope and schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to key stakeholders. Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project. Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. The person in this role will help to lead transformation within the group from a project to a product program structure.
Responsible for initiatives, project and enhancements specific to the Dispatch Health Power BI Tool.
Communicate detailed business goals to Data Scientists and Data Engineers to create solutions
Manage stakeholder expectations from development to deployment
Develop and support collaborative business partnerships
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between business needs, business processes and technological solutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
Clinical/Coding and/or Health plan experience
2-5yrs experience in Project Management / population health with minor or experience in data and analytics.
Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs: Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Excel.
Strong attention to detail
Can work independently and determine appropriate courses of action
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Capacity to maintain confidentiality
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and recommended speed for optimal performance from Humana systems is 10M x 1M
Able to accommodate Eastern Time Zone work hours Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM EST

Louisville, KY, preferred - may be required to go onsite for meetings when travel is permitted
