What will I be doing?

The Manager Business Architecture is responsible for managing multiple workstreams and projects in Hilton’s revenue, sales, loyalty, and new business segments technology initiatives. The position will partner with internal and external technical and functional colleagues on multi-functional teams to analyze requirements, identify gaps and risks, implement, and support solutions that allow Hilton to maintain its position as a leader in Hospitality.

In this role, you will play a key role in capturing and refining requirements from business partners and handing those requirements to the Architecture and Build teams. This role ensures quality and consistency of the software across the system and provides day-to-day mentorship to the development teams. You will work with cross-functional teams in technology, sales, marketing, loyalty, and commercial services as well as with delivery teams to help ensure solutions align to stakeholder requirements.

More specifically, you will:


Manage multiple workstreams that design, develop, deliver, and maintain micro service using agile methodology and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Work with functional authorities on requirements and translate the requirements into Jira tickets
Build and update support processes
Coordinate and communicate software releases
Help fill gaps throughout the development lifecycle to ensure Hilton meets delivery expectations
Follow the defined agile methodology delivering industry-leading solutions with outstanding quality and performance
Take project initiatives through the Security review process
Collaborate with business partners to elicit and transform requirements into practical user stories
Interact directly with delivery and architecture teams
Lead interactions between partners and delivery teams


What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:


Five (5) years of professional experience within Technology or a related field
Three (3) years of experience as an analyst
Three (3) years of experience collecting requirements from various partners, doing analysis, and working with developers and testers on delivery
Three (3) years of experience concurrently working on multiple workstreams
Two (2) years of experience in Project Management


It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:


Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience
Seven (7) years of professional experience within Technology or a related field
Hospitality or travel industry experience
Technology Management Experience
Experience working in an environment using Splunk, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, or MS Project)
