This position schedules the work to be accomplished daily, weekly and during planned outages; determines the required parts, equipment, and human resources to complete this work.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003ePRIMARY DUTIESu003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003eReviews new work requests on a daily basis and establishes priorities to serve as a guideline for work package development and subsequent work order scheduling and completionu003c/liu003enu003cliu003ePlans the preventive/corrective activities for maintenance personnel in performing maintenance and repair activities.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eConducts regular planning meetings with Maintenance Manager and others as necessary to fully understand the work required; coordinates work plans among all stakeholders including plant personnel, contractors, suppliers and other entities as required.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eDevelops work order packages in preparation for scheduling and assignment of work. Work order packages are to include necessary drawings, equipment instructions, procedures, material lists, tool and equipment listsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003ePlans and schedules major project outages and provides priority lists for shadow maintenance. Utilizes Microsoft Project to create detailed plans and schedules that include appropriate activities and resource assignments. Monitors project progress and provides appropriate updates of schedule and completion status.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eEstablishes contingency work priorities for forced outage situationsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eRecommends and facilitates the procurement of parts and equipment necessary to support all identified maintenanceu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eRetrieves the required parts from inventory; identifies the necessary tools for repair; and researches vendor technical instructions for all project repair worku003c/liu003enu003cliu003eDetermines the required project conditions and appropriate work isolation for planned maintenance, including the preparation of lockout/tagoutsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eCoordinates the projectu0027s predictive maintenance programu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eAdministers a maintenance plan that ensures electrical and mechanical equipment is serviced and maintained in accordance with vendor recommendations and proceduresu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eImplements the projectu0027s preventive maintenance program, including equipment failure records, and providing trend information to the Maintenance Manageru003c/liu003enu003cliu003eSupports and coordinates Root Cause Analysis (RCA)u003c/liu003enu003cliu003ePerforms other assigned dutiesu003c/liu003enu003c/ulu003enu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003eNAESu003c/strongu003e u003cstrongu003eSAFE u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003cpu003eSafety is a core value of NAES and as a condition of employment, all employees are expected to be mentally alert and work safely at all times. The Maintenance Planner cooperates with other supervisors and personnel as needed in the daily maintenance of the project.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003ePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONSu003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003ePhysical requirements include standing on feet for extended periods of time, stair and ladder climbing and routinely lifting up to 50 pounds. Protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, ear protection and high voltage protective equipment must be worn in the performance of some duties.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003ePosition requires extended working hours and varied shifts with the possibility of weekend and holiday work, as required by schedules, work load and project conditions. u0022On callu0022 status will periodically be required.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eAll employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening and post-employment random drug screening.
