We are seeking a Senior Manager of Carrier Network Services
to join the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Digital & Technology team to support the day-to-day billing, provisioning and coordination of change for telecommunication circuits and systems supporting our advanced voice, contact center, collaboration and network capabilities. This Manager will be responsible for managing the team and prioritize the day-to-day work to configure, order and coordinate new telecom circuits and then ensure billing records are accurate upon install. As part of the provisioning of services and technologies this role will be required to work closely with telecom carriers and internal technology and business units by following standard SDLC processes and completing artifacts and reports to senior leadership as necessary. The position will work collaboratively with other teams to ensure network architecture designs, feasibility, and cost studies applicable to voice communications, contact center and collaboration technologies all meet existing reference architecture designs. The individual will complete forecasting exercises, capacity analysis to foresee future design changes related to call routing traffic, collaboration & feature usage analysis and ongoing billing analysis thru a Telecom Expense Management tools. The individual will conduct project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons when researching new solutions. Works with external third parties and service providers to both implement and support telecom circuits and technologies.
Responsibilities include:
Identify strategic needs within the telecommunications arena and work with Business units and the larger D&T organization to ensure appropriate design and sourcing.
Work closely with finance and business partners to assist in the development of requirements, business cases and cost estimates for technology and telecom circuit implementations.
Work with leadership and architecture teams to set new direction and develop the strategic direction for network, data center and cloud platform solutions connectivity.
Assist in the management of the operational and strategic planning processes for the D&T Group
Provide ownership of orders for services in the portfolio.
Place and manage ordering process and circuit documentation
Proactively meets with vendors to develop and implement best practices and ensures provisioning and billing expectations are being met
Partner with cross functional teams on strategic initiatives and improvements to determine plan and strategy changes to keep business moving forward
Manage the Telecommunication Expense Management service
Collect, analyze and interpret information to assess and conclude on service areas. Prepare clear and concise documentation to support conclusions and findings.
Provide updates to larger Client Group of company telecommunications financial status, strategy shifts and changes, and department specific information
Minimum Requirements:
5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience
1 year experience Managing and leading teams
3 years of telecom circuit provisioning, implementation and financial management
2 of project management experience
2 years of working with a Telecom Expense Management toolset
Experience in a SIP based telecommunications network
Proven experience leading large installation and upgrade projects
Preferred Requirements:
Prior experience in a global enterprise
Knowledge of facilities management including: Building construction milestones, Electrical readiness, telecommunication trenching / route engineering and Alarm panel telecommunication requirements
Experience working in an outsourced environment, the ability to drive designs and operational expectations thru contractual relationships
Understand network transport technologies (MPLS, Access Mechanisms, PSTN, etc.)
