Description

The Senior Business Project Manager delivers new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Business Project Manager gathers and documents business system and functional requirements and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Completes and/or coordinates implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues and work is performed with limited direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

The candidate will lead projects throughout the SDLC. The primary focus areas for this position will be in:


New Medicaid state implementations (OH, TX, LA)
Medicaid improvements / RxEncounters work
Medicaid readiness
Medicaid state regulation driven changes
Medicaid break/fix issues
Adding new Medicaid capabilities not tied to a state implementation
Other PBM projects outside of Medicaid as bandwidth allows


Required Qualifications


Associates Degree
3 years of project management experience
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
Experience in business analysis and requirement elicitation
Experience managing cross-functional project teams


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree
Previous Medicaid experience
PMP Certification
