Job Description:
The new SEAM organization integrates Safety, Environment & Asset Management activities, with a broad geographical footprint, that will support Shell’s business & assets around the world.
The vision of SEAM is to provide capability across the spectrum of Safety, Environment and Asset Management with:
shaping the future ways of working through introducing to the business new technology and news way of working, including e.g. digital, SBO, and real-time, data-driven, end-to-end optimization and risk management, but also global programmes like Human Performance Based Safety Philosophy.

The purpose of the role is to support the Businesses (UP/DS/IGNE/PT/GF) to deliver Shell’s Goal Zero (No Harm & No Leaks) ambition, by providing accurate and quality assured safety performance data It is also about driving a cultural change around reporting by empowering the business to understand what lies behind the data, and by supporting their own team to become trusted business partners who can hold up the mirror and challenge.
The incumbent will be expected to play a key role in driving change to optimize the reporting systems and processes and providing the performance data and insights required to support the Goal Zero journey.
The Project Admin/ Project Engineer will be part of the VP TAO organization.
The VP TAO will be accountable for maximizing integrated business value across the organization. Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell’s Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas and Upstream. TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes.
Purpose and Accountabilities
The Project Admin/Project Engineer role is related to the project control update inclusive of Financial Data Analytics, risk, management of change, project scheduling and cost control. The Project Admin is expected to coordinate with Project Managers in a portfolio of project and update Project data in SAP, Sharepoint, BOT tool and the Project Master List. The role focuses on the following main activities:
Maintaining the Portfolio Project Information Registration work (including filing, monitoring and record management of essential documents in TEAMs and/or Sharepoint) with support from Project Managers
Coordinate Management of Change records and status updates.
Creation of WBS for projects.
Chasing Project Documents like RFSU certificates, Post Implementation Assessments (PIA), Project Acceptance Certificates (PAC) and Financial Closure (FICO) for Project Close out Report and Reviews.
Gather relevant data and prepare information for slide packs for monthly area Business Opportunity Team meetings and monthly Senior Leadership Team slides
Update CAPEX/ REVEX portfolio reporting (Monthly Yearly Reporting)
Monitoring and reporting HSSE data
Other ad-hoc reporting or administration (Document Control reporting and chasing)
Expectations:
Self-starter and good communicator throughout the organization.
Structured mind to keep overview of all projects and systems.
Act as full member of the project management community. This includes project managers but also staff in HSE, business opportunity management (BOM), estimating, cost control, planning, information management and construction.
Support for ad-hoc request from individual project managers when workload allows.
Manage own workload: Escalate to Project Management Team Leads when these requests are beyond available capability/capacity.

Skills and Requirements
Engineering Degree and/or Certification as a Project Engineer or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management positions in the Oil & Gas industry (operating refinery or petrochemicals plants preferred) on small capital projects portfolios.
Are/have been responsible for Project Management in Portfolio of Projects
Team player with good interpersonal skills and proven track record of being self-motivated.
Able to work across multiple projects largely unsupervised and deliver results within challenging deadlines and under pressure.
Fully versed with MS Office suite of software (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)
